Who We Are

Kyokushin Karate Crows Nest Dojo delivers authentic Japanese Kyokushin training focused on full-contact technique, discipline and character. We welcome all ages and backgrounds and provide small-class instruction for personalised development.

History

Kyokushin spread to Australia in the 1960s. Our dojo is part of the long-standing Kyokushin tradition in Australia and follows the Australian Kyokushin Karate Association lineage under IKO–Matsushima.

Our Philosophy

We are proud members of the Matsuhima Kyokusin Australia (MKA). Our philosophy emphasises strength, humility and perseverance. Kyokushin literally means “ultimate truth”, and we train with that spirit both on and off the floor.
